Electronic Air Suspension to Coil Spring Conversion

EAS, fitted to Range Rovers since 1993, doesn′t suit everybody. Those who use their Range Rover as a heavy-duty off road vehicle or travel to remote areas prefer the reliability and ruggedness of conventional coil springs. When EAS does fail, it can be expensive to repair. We can convert your Range Rover to coil springs. See the image on the left for a picture of a EAS Range Rover Classic converted to standard height coil springs. Your EAS Range Rover will be returned to the reliability and longevity of coil springs. Once the coil springs and shocks are fitted, we turn off the EAS so no annoying faults plague you.

Even after the coils have been fitted we can retro fit the EAS. We can leave all of the control units on the vehicle then re-fit the air springs and turn the EAS back on, however if there was a fault originally it must be rectified. We can fit either standard height springs or raised springs to give extra height off road. Coil springs will not adversely effect off road ability nor restrict axle articulation, if anything they improve the ride characteristics. Coil springs will give a firmer ride on road and off road. We use variable rate springs in the rear to handle any extra weight without sagging. A choice of standard height or raised height are available. You also have a choice of Bilstein or Koni shocks.
